Never underestimate a home made gift for Christmas
Love these red "Joy Christmas" pillows. What a great homespun gift to give someone this Christmas or for any reason for that matter. Joy should always be displayed!!

More trinkets from our tree.

Christmas Time at our Nest. Getting ready still. It's been a fun process. New Nest so it's been fun decorating. Our first Christmas here. Making new memories here at the new homestead.....thank you Lord for your many blessings....and blessing us with this home we have here on Ol Cape Cod. More pics to come.
Blessings, Karen
I just love ice-skates, these wooden ones were purchased at a Cracker Barrell when getting our Marine son from Parris Island. |

A simple sample of Cape Cod Christmas Decor.
I must say I do love the "white on white" decor...lots and lots of white...however I also have to say there is something deep inside of me that likes the "ol country" look. Lots and lots of red and green. Plenty of plaids, lots of gold. I even put the old fashioned fat colored lights on our two hedges out front this year .....love it. Counting the days my youngest comes home Christmas Eve.
One will find "star-fish" adorning garland & wreaths on Cape Cod. |
A faithful friend loves to sit on a cozy plaid blanket...... |
in front of the fireplace. |
What we call the "silva-dollaar" of the sea. |
Red and green plaid with gold trim....love it. |
