Some Shabby lamps.

I saw these lamps at a local home decor store.  I just loved them, they were the only two so I had to get them.  I adore the Waverly print.  The base of the lamps are glass with a "pink milk glass" interior.  Very Shabby Vintage looking.  They found a "home" in my bedroom!

My youngest Chipmunk turned 19 last week.  She is at college in Cali.  I am counting down the weeks for her Freshmen year to end  My Chipper will be home for the summer.

I have a friend who is thinking of selling her home within the next year or two.  She and her husband have raised their two boys now married with children of their own.  My friend has lived in this home for over 25years.  Just helped with suggestions for her first floor bathroom.  It had wallpaper with violets 90's motif, with a cherry vanity which had faded.  Here are some pics of the "make-over" bath.

Enjoyed this day at my friends home.  It's crazy New England weather but no complaints.  I soaked in the warm/hot sun today.  So here are some pics of my friends yard.

I am getting more excited about my website  Shabby 2 Chic Shoppe It takes time to create a site and I am not doing this project by myself.  I have a friend with her own design company designing my sight.  We are working together for the perfect look for my online store and blog.  This is an exciting venture for me, and it is allowing me to use the gifts and talents that I know I have.  I love blogging, and sharing Shabby Decor, French and Cottage Decor.  I can not wait to hunt for treasures to sell on line.  Keep looking the website will be finished soon.

The Rain is gone, sunshine at last!

 It's officially Spring, the buds are coming out and Spring flowers have sprung.  I saw the biggest Robin outside my bedroom window this morning.  The sound of Spring Peepers at night are loud....but exciting to hear.  I know that warm weather, sunny days, and outside activities are around the corner.  Also....my youngest "chipper", (one of my chipmunks) will be home from college (in CA) very soon!

It's Good Friday today.  I will attend Good Friday service this evening.  God's love for us ....it's amazing!  Until next time..........Karen
