Sundays' Supper-A tid-bit of spiritual food.

It's Palm Sunday.  It's when Jesus came into Jerusalem on the back of a young donkey.  It's a week before His death on the cross.  Take the time and read this portion of scripture:  John 12:12  The next day a great multitude that had come to the feast, when they heard that Jesus was coming to  Jerusalem took branches of palm trees and went out to meet Him, and cried out: "Hosanna! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!  The King of Isreal!"   John Chapter 12 tells the account of Jesus' triumphal entry into Jerusalem.  This is an amazing season for the christian faith.  Many emotions go thru our hearts, minds and spirits during the Easter season.  Next Friday is Good Friday, Jesus' death on the cross Him dying for the sins of mankind.  Easter Morn, Jesus rose again on the third, showing  He truely is the son of God.  If we believe Jesus came lived, ministered, died for our sins and rose again three days later, all for us to have eternal life with Him, and we repent of our sins  then we shall have eternal life too.  Seek, you will find the truth.  God has put it in man to search for the Truth.

Sundays Supper-Some Spiritual Food

It's March 14th, my birthday.  It was a quiet b-day for me and that's ok.  I am as you may have read in other blogs, going thru my first year of the "empty nest" syndrome.  So this birthday is bittersweet for me, but I am blessed.  I am going to blog down a scripture I was reminded about.  Read it and ponder it. This scripture is for us all.  It's in the bible.
     Psalm 139:13-16
...For you formed my inward parts: You covered me in my mother's womb.  I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.  Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well.  My frame was not hidden from You.  When I was made in secret, And skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.  Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed.  And in Your book they all were written The days fashioned for me.

God knew me in my mothers womb.  He knew you.  He knows our number of days here on this earth.  He has a plan and purpose for us.  Have a great and blessed week.

March

What is your favorite part of the month of March?  I love March yes my birthday is in this month but.....I would still have very fond memories of this month.  As a child I remember living in Chichester, NH and in this month of March the snow was melting, and some of the grass would show and some of the flower buds would pop thru the earth.  I remember putting on my rubber boots the kind that had the metal hooks on them....you know what I mean :)  I would purposely splash through the puddles and mud would get everywhere.  Oh and the smell of that mud I knew warmer weather was coming.  I would see the robins grabbing their dinners from the ground, (worms).  I would even see robins eggs in their beautiful light blue color on the ground cracked in two, I knew it fell from a nest, such a wonderful find.

March is a month full of new life coming to bloom, to birth.  It's a month where we humans come alive after being in our homes all winter.  Color comes back to the earth in all its glory.  Thank you God for your amazing work!

Sunday's Supper-A tidbit of Spiritual Food

You know as a believer in God and His Son Jesus, it's comforting to know, we have a guideline to live by.  It is His Word.  It's all there for man-kind to receive, it's a gift, and it's your choice.  God gave us free will.  God does not shove Himself on us, not at all, although He does show Himself to us all the time (that's if we are tentive to see).  Watch for God this week.  You'll sense Him.  You'll know when you are having a God moment. 1st John 2:5

Just Boppin Around

A friend and I went second-hand shoppe visiting yesterday.  It was snowing out, (not sticking to the ground snow), but cold and wet to say the least.  Did we still enjoy ourselves, you betcha.  My friend found some cool finds, an antique rocker and a cool claw foot round end table, with unique carvings on its edges.  I think the table was most likely from the 1930's or so.  I found some material to make square pillows.  A simple project for most, but it will be most interesting for me to attempt....me and a sewing machine....very interesting.  Until later....Karen
